教室裡有不少科技業工程師，30 至50歲之間，國立大學電機所、電機所畢業，我發現一些很嚴重的問題：聽力不太好。
其中有個工程師很幽默，敢自嘲："明明看到的是Ａ，聽起來卻像Ｂ,而從口中發出來的音卻變成了Ｃ..."

　　《鐘樓怪人》是法國大文豪雨果（Victor Hugo）的小說改編，

英文原名是「巴黎聖母院的駝子」（The Hunchback of Notre Dame）。
  
　　
 
　　巴黎聖母院的建築屬哥德式（Gothic），建築邊緣設有 gargoyle
（承霤口、筧嘴、滴水嘴），所以這些怪獸造型的嘴巴開開的。
 
　　學英文，不能只學表面，要深入其文化。

　　你真的有看懂電影嗎？就算有中文字幕，你也不見得真的有看懂？
　　　　　  
　　你以為動畫片很容易看懂，也許你看懂的只是表面而已。以 Disney
的動畫片《鐘樓怪人》為例，在 0.20 秒的段落，為什麼右邊的怪獸
會跟左邊的怪獸說：「誰叫你睡覺時，嘴巴開開。」

　　記得很久很久已前，我爸爸有回從印尼搭機回台，
 
行李箱裡塞了兩顆榴櫣。
　　一下了飛機，竟然被海關查到。即使透過層層包裝，
那臭味仍然透過行李箱溢了出來。這叫「臭」味四溢！
