多益測驗，有時候，真的可以亂猜答案。
我寫這一系列小文是為了幫助讀者拿高分，但
希望你不要這樣學英文。
ABC Car Company, said that costs at
the facility had been rising for some
time and that attempts to increase
profitability and reduce costs ______.
答案：四選一
1. had failed
2. will fail
3. fails
4. could have failed
就算你完全看不懂這題在說什麼，一樣可以答對。
你看 had been rising 是過去完成式，即可判斷。
四個選擇答案中，只有第一個的可能性最高。
我相信，學校的測驗也可能如法泡製。而你在考
寫作和口語測驗的時候，盡量避開複雜的句子，一樣
可以考高分。
然而，一旦進入國際職場，有多少實力，人家很快
就可以看出來，混出來的分數混不了人生。
