他們有規定 dress code.
幾年前我看到報紙上的新聞，一群台灣女老師暑假到
倫敦自助旅行，她們穿涼鞋和短褲，不符 dress code,
被拒於外。
去年五月帶讀者到香港進一家三顆星米其林餐廳，
同行的一位爸爸也因 dress code 不對，被擋於門外。
以下是倫敦麗池飯店下午茶 dress code:
The Ritz London operates a dress code in
specific areas of the Hotel. A formal dress code
is upheld in The Palm Court and during lunch
and dinner service in The Ritz Restaurant.
In these areas gentlemen are required to wear
a jacket（此字在英國不是夾克，而是外套） and tie（領帶）
whilst jeans are not permitted（不可穿牛仔褲）.
Trainers（運動鞋） and sportswear（運動休閒服） are
not permitted in any public area of the Hotel.
也就是說：男士們要穿外套，打領帶。
女士們，穿長裙、高跟鞋。
所以我們直接搭計程車過去。

提醒您，可自備小型保鮮盒，幾個套在一起的那種。吃不完的，可外帶當早餐。
當然，吃不完時，很多地方也提供 doggie bag.
